DVG has been conducting much many activities since it gained its origin. Some of them are listed below:
Celebration of DVG Day, 21 Aug '06
DVG has announced to celebrate the 21 August as DVG day. This is the day when our Organization turned NGO, so this day worth value to our Group.
DVG Conducting Reiki Healing
Reiki a hands-on healing system based on channeling universal life force energy. Reiki teaches that a life force energy is present in all living things, and that a shortage or blockage of this energy results in physical and mental imbalance and illness.
During Reiki the practitioners transmit universal life force energy by placing their hands at specific positions on or slightly above the recipient's body. Reiki theory states that the practitioner does not create or direct the energy, but merely transmits it from a universal source and that the energy goes wherever it is needed for healing.
The objective of this healing programme is to provide relief to children suffering from any ongoing pain related to their medical problems. The Reiki Healing programme was initiated by our DVG member Binai Rai with the Reiki healer friend. All the healing was done by him.
Several children fell asleep after receiving healing from him, which is a sign of effective healing. The child is then said to experience relaxation.

DVG Work On Dang, 27 Sep'06 Wed
During late September we had to send one of our child named Sanjiv (who is no more) and his family – mother and sister – to Dang; their home, because the doctor had declared a very low possibility of survival of Sanjiv. We did what we had to. We collected funds from ourselves, our families, and our friends, and sent them home with two of our volunteers – Mr. Samir Shrestha and Mr. Gaj Bahadur Gurung – to guide them till their abode.
Deusi-Bhailo Program on Tihar, 21 Oct '06

Nature of Programme: Deusi – Bhailo and Nutrition Distribution
Objective of the Aforementioned Programme: The objective of this programme was to create a festive atmosphere of Tihar within the Oncology Ward, for the Children suffering and undergoing treatment for Cancer, and their Families.
Deusi – Bhaili and Nutrition Distribution
The course of the event was to play a mild form of Deusi-Bhaili and to distribute Nutrition to the Children. The Deusi-Bhaili did indeed take on a mild form. Chetan did make an attempt to pep it up with the flute, though, but little Sandeep had other ideas. He ran away with the flute – much to the relief to our ears – only to be intercepted by Samir.

We had chocolates, litos, toffees, and biscuits to distribute. The Toffee distribution was extended to the Cardiology Ward as well. The litos were bought under the supervision of Samir Adhikari and Binai Rai from Rs. 520/- donated by Mrs. Radhika Rai and Rs. 20/- from DVG's fund.
Drama as Charity Conducted at Aarohan Gurukul 12 Dec '06
We had been provided with the opportunity to conduct a show of "Master Builder" by Henrik Ibsen, done in its translated format in Nepali "Mahan Shilpikar" as a charity show at Aarohan Gurukul, in order to raise funds for the aforementioned children and give our NGO the necessary head start. The fund raising programme was organized with the main objective focusing on the welfare and benefit of the Children and their Families regarding their necessities and also to mobilize the necessary requirements of DVG in order to function at full throttle.
The event was successfully conducted with a fair attendance of theatre enthusiasts. To top it all off there were stellar performances. We received much many positive feedbacks from all of the viewers.
